Ceramic tiles are an excellent choice for fireplaces due to their heat resistance and durability, ensuring both safety and longevity while adding an artistic touch.

The random installation of Orbit and Quadrant tiles rises elegantly on the chimney breast, extending all the way to the ceiling. This bold, forward design pays homage to mid-century modern aesthetics. The Satin White glaze color on the tiles maintains the room's bright and airy ambiance, while their dimensional relief subtly catches the light, adding depth and interest. The interplay of patterns and orientations across the installation creates a dynamic visual experience, personalizing the space and reflecting the homeowner's unique personality.

The square ceramic tiles across this wall have been installed in random orientations for dynamic lines and incredible movement but can be installed in a variety of orientations and pattern combinations to create your own personal expression.

Seen here in Translucent Black glaze, the color black can be used in many ways — it can act as a striking statement in your room or it can take a backseat to other hues. One great quality of black tile is that it’s also a neutral. Whether you lean toward a sultry all-or-mostly black space, or you use black as an accent, it complements just about any finish you pair with it.

The main feature of this serene space is the exquisite, white glazed ceramic tiles, handcrafted to mimic split bamboo stalks in varying sizes. The effect is a transcending blend of familiarity and magic, akin to entering an enchanting natural sanctuary. The commercial project completed in the city of Nagoya, in central Japan, uses a blend of the Large Stem, Small Stem, and a custom Stem (measuring 4 x 15-1/2” wide) to heighten this sense of natural bamboo grove.

Inspired by Kyoto’s serene bamboo groves, the Bamboo Forest collection blends timeless Japanese aesthetics with modern design. Bamboo, a symbol of strength and harmony, has long graced traditional gardens and homes—now reimagined in tile form.

The larger format glass tiles from our Agate series create a stunning feature wall that highlights the artistic craftsmanship of each individual tile. Inspired by the ancient Venetian glassmakers, whose unique works displayed both opaque and translucent qualities, our Agate series tiles feature a beautiful blend of colors and textures reminiscent of semi-precious stones found in volcanic rock formations.

In this space, the tiles evoke a sense of tranquility with their natural color palette, promoting a relaxing atmosphere. Complementing the glass tiles, ceramic tiles from our Watercolors series frame the design harmoniously, facilitating a smooth transition between the various areas of the home.

This amazing design merges mesmerizing rich textures by incorporating our Obsidian-colored hand-crafted glass mosaics with an intricate half-hexagonal pattern featuring pearlescent and matte/silk finishes. Additionally, the dark, metallic, burl-wood-like patterned glaze on our Japanese ceramics field tile adds a sophisticated touch, elevating the overall aesthetic. Time-honored methods perfected and passed over generations in Fez, Morocco create individual hand-chiseled tile pieces in modern shapes and patterns. Unique to Mistral, lead-free Italian glazes are applied to the Moroccan tiles to achieve a striking, fresh palette curated for today’s distinctive interiors and exteriors.

The triangle motif pattern seen here is representative of the amulet of protection designs seen in Kilim rugs, and is also influenced by Art Deco style, creating a personal and inspired feeling of sanctuary and home.

Time-honored methods perfected and passed over generations in Fez, Morocco create individual hand-chiseled tile pieces in modern shapes and patterns. Unique to Mistral, lead-free Italian glazes are applied to the Moroccan tiles to achieve a striking, fresh palette curated for today’s distinctive interiors and exteriors.

This amazing barn-makeover features a counter-to-ceiling kitchen wall covered in our hand-crafted Japanese ceramics from the Shinju series. The pop of warm, bronze color with subtle movement and random texture in the tiles create a strong visual focus within this large minimalistic-styled space.

Shinju, which means “pearl” in Japanese, harvests inspiration from the shimmer of pearls, the ridges of oyster shells, the surrounding reefs, and the movement of the ocean into a handcrafted ceramic tile series. The effect is one of modern elegance with coastal inspiration and a nod to nature’s artistry.
